Here’s an update as I noticed that, while life goes onward, the literary side does not keep up with revealing new events. My editor and guru tells me I have fallen down on the job so, here goes with a brief update:
First, I am working on two new volumes; one is of poetry written in the last two years (I have done a volume on that basis three prior times). The second is a collection of recent short stories, the first volume of stories (Noir Ain’t the Half of It) having been published a few years ago.
Buried deep in my computer is a novel I wrote in– well, I confess, 1982. It probably needs a rewrite (actually, for sure) and covered the angst of being a fairly new attorney being shocked by the real world. The kind of thing that makes made movies. If I tackle that, I will let you know.
While I am posting: if you have not done so already, please go to Amazon Books; if you plug in my name or click on any of the books on my website you will discover that all eleven of my efforts are available for your purchase. I would be appreciative if you were to order one or more and, if enjoyed, post a positive review. Please note that I will not retire on my royalties–I have found out that if I get about three bucks per purchase I am doing well and, frankly, that other Stephen who writes, the one who is King of fiction, will get rich at that price point but that ain’t me.
